The City of West Palm Beach celebrated yesterday, October 6, 2012, the grand opening of its first ever Annual GreenMarket. Every Saturday shoppers will be free to browse more than 90 vendors selling fresh produce, herbs, plants, and natural, homemade goods, plus more!

The GreenMarket will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays at the Waterfront Commons located at 101 S Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. Parking will be free at the Banyan Street garage. Bring your boat and tie up for free at the nearby docks! This is a wonderful feature of living in West Palm Beach!

Now to the question, "Is Higher Better for YOU?" No doubt the view from the very top is the longest view north and south over the beach, over the ocean to the east or the city skyline to the west. It is definitely much quieter up higher because the street traffic is much farther away as well as elevator noise within the condo building. But sometimes from the 30th floor, a beach umbrella can seem like a tiny dot on the beach. And of course, the fear of heights is a consideration. And of course with a little sense of humor, condo buildings do have lower floors! Ultimately it is a very individual decision.
